If you just moved to town and are a new customer in town, please stop by the Village Office between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. the 1st through the 15th of each month to fill out application for utilities. There is a $125.00 deposit that is reimbursed after three years if your account is in good standing.
Utilities that you will be signing up for are electric, sewer, water and trash. These are all mandatory if living within village limits.
Bills will be sent out the end of the month so you should have them in your mail by the 1st of the month. They are due on the 15th of the month unless this is a weekend and then they are due the following Monday. There is a dropbox on the northeast side of the Village building that you can drop your bill into at night. This dropbox is checked every weekday morning.
Electric meters are read around the 21st of each month. Water is not metered but has flat rate, as well as sewer and trash.
Winter rates apply during the usage between November 1 through April 30. Summer rates apply during the usage between May 1st and October 13st.
